Anyone get into CSU East Bay Post Bac program with under 2.8 GPA?

I know on their website it says minimum GPA is 2.8. Has anyone gotten into the program with under 2.8 GPA?

I've heard that it's possible, but I am not personally aware of anyone who has gotten in with lower than a 2.8. I've also heard from several people that the reason why they have that minimum GPA is due to the ease/difficulty of pulling your GPA up to the minimum 3.0 many grad schools like to see (or your desired GPA). If anything, it could be helpful to complete that personal statement explaining your background/GPA.
