Hi, just want to see if anyone get the call from western for Feb 9th interview.

i did, but i had another interview on that date and i had already bought plane tickets--so i postponed it till the next date (feb 9)

I called today because I'm starting to worry a bit, and the person that I talked to said they haven't called anyone for Feb. 9 yet. I'm glad someone else asked about this -- I'm not the only one wondering

My friend also get an email for interview for Feb 9th, I am not sure if the person who talked to you was telling the truth.... my other friend is still waiting. I think maybe they still choosing people for the interview. Good Luck everyone.

No. She got it last week. My other friend didn't get anything yet. But, someone said they have not call anyone yet??? It is weird, maybe western did email people for interview, but have not call everyone yet.

Did your banweb show complete before receiving the invite? I just checked and it still in "incomplete" status. I haven't heard anything from them and I called Admissions and they tell me to check Banweb for updates.

Kinda going crazy here...

I think it is a website where you can check if your application is complete or not. Some people got letter with ID and instructions how to log on to the website....I did not get any... I have seen people who did not get the banweb letter and got accepted.

I know it won't matter to you since you've already been accepted but it would help people who are waiting to hear SOMETHING, ANYTHING (except a rejection letter) from Western.

If it's not too much trouble, could you log on and check to see if 1. it says your file status is complete and all the fields up are filled in up until the point you're accepted.

Hi, I don't think you need to panic. My friend and I never get the ID to log in the system and we still get our invitation. However, I did get an email saying your application file is completed two months ago. Hope this helps.

right now my banweb looks completely different than the last time i checked. last time it was application info etc. Which did say it was complete. Now, i have banweb that resembles a westernU student with registrations, holds, transcripts, housing, financial aid, etc options.

Anyhow, don't stress abt banweb.

I never got a banweb letter. I also did not get an email saying my application was complete..

Did anyone here get interviews without either of those? I know people got interviews without a banweb, but what about the "application complete" email?

I'm still waiting too. Did banweb notify you on the interview date? Or did it only change after the interview and they decided to accept you? Also, were the invitations for the interview made via phone or a letter? I'm just trying to see what I should be looking out for so I don't overlook one thing and miss it all. Thanx.

Study? LOL. Maybe study your life. The two essays that were given last time both asked about a decision or a period in your life. I don't think i have permission to give the exact essay topic, but that should give u an idea.

I guess if u want to study, you can pick random topic and practice writing for 40 mins and then check your spelling and grammar. I heard those are really important, maybe more important than content. good luck

Wow....they call you so late, did you ask them if you can postphone the interview? It is kind of last minute if you have not study anything before in advance. Anyway, look at the website and look at the database feeback. Hopefully, it should help a little.

Maybe not, then. Since you did not tell time at the time when they called you. It's up to you now. I don't know if it is ok because usually people tell them when they call.

I see. Now it's up to me to prepare as best as I can then. Thanks for the advice. Oh and did I mention my check-in time is 7:30 am. That means I have to wake up at 5-5:30 am because I'm about an hour away. Thanks once again.
