Anyone have any tips on how to study most efficiently at a school that has implemented mandatory lecture? I will be attending CUSOM and most people say that going to lecture is a waste of time. How should I study for mandatory lecture?

Also, I have read that CUSOM does not allow headphones in lecture so it seems that studying during lecture will not be an effective method of studying.

We were told on interview day that the headphone policy changed. I was under the assumption that headphones could be worn now.

Sit on the far left or far right side on the back row, string the corresponding headphone through your shirt and into your ear. Alternatively, buy wireless bud headphones.

Try and get into a school without mandatory lecture. That failing, get really good at zoning out what is being said in lecture and just focusing on your laptop. It's not a bad skill to have for boards, actually.

Meanwhile, I'm kind of glad that we have sheep that are willing to go to lecture. I do hear quite a few profs complaining about the lack of attendance over the stream for some lectures.
