I applied a couple months ago but havent heard anything yet. They said to call back if you don't hear anything by late June. Has anyone got a letter/ notification, anything?

Could you provide me with some info on this school as well. I have applied to their second bac program in biology. I would love more info on this school and your experience. Do you know anything about financial aid or housing? How about classes in the evening?

scota, when did you apply to Cal State LA? Did you apply as a post-bac undeclared for fall or summer? This has me completely annoyed they they are rejecting people right now, yet they don't allow status calls until late June. Did you get a confirmation letter for your application before you got rejected? I didn't even get that yet and no one will answer my questions.

On second thought, I'm really annoyed that they didn't just say they're not accepting apps from postbaccs. If spaces aren't available, they should give us our app fee back.

I applied as post-baccauleareate unclassifed. What is the 2nd bachelors program?

I was told that post bacs were no longer being accepted with a fee waiver. Since I didn't pay the fee, they rejected me. But I'm going to SFSU instead, so it doesn't really matter. Stay on CSULA, however. They have a lazy and incompetent staff. I heard from SFSU two months ago(and even got an aid package), whereas my brother is still waiting to hear from CSULA. I applied on 12/13/03, by the way. Good luck.

I haven't heard from them either. I applied for a second bacc in microbiology. I'm getting worried because I had my transcript sent from overseas and sent them letters regarding change in residence and major and so on, and they wouldn't even acknowledge receipt of them. I'm going to get really pissed off if they reject me based on a technicality like missing papers. To those applying, what are your back-up plans in case you don't get in CSULA?

I have no idea what my plan is. I might apply to CSU san bernardino or maybe UCI extension. I just don't have the money to go out of the greater LA area. I'm completely irritated that there aren't more CSU offering post-bac undeclared. It just seems like something so basic that all schools would have that option. And I don't want to take classes at a community college only to get rejected from dental schools a second time if the schools look down upon that.

Anyone have a plan to stay in socal?

Same here, savvysearch. I'm really tight on cash right now, so I have to stay in the area. Unfortunately, I think I might have to go the community college route if CSULA doesn't take me. CSU Long Beach, Northridge and San Bernardino don't take second-degree seekers, and I missed CSU Fullerton's application deadline. And since I've only been in California a couple of months, I wouldn't even be able to afford a UC.

I haven't heard anymore than just the initial "application complete" informational letter. But since they're on the quarter system, I've given up on the idea of enrolling there.

I guess there are benefits to a quarter system. Has anyone heard from the school yet? It late July and they still haven't denied or accepted me. I know a freshman that got in early July. I'm just hoping that this isn't a bad sign.

So I got admitted to the school, but I still have to get admitted into the program. Is anyone even applying to the program? It seems many people decided to drop the idea.
