i have been waiting and waiting to hear from UF for the second round of acceptances, if anyone has heard or hears in the near future could you please post an answer? thanks a bunch!!

why do you say in march?? when i was there they mentioned they would be meeting mid. january to make decisions for the second group so why would they only notify us in march?

when i interviewed there they mentioned they would be meeting mid. january to make a decision on the second round of applicants so why would it take them until march to find out??

yeah like when I was there they said something about that too... but I think they meet and just make decisions for all the interviews they had during that period.. and then announce all the acceptances in March, once they stop interviewing.

How does UF notify people if they are accepted? Phone call or mail? Thanks for the above posts =) I'm crossing my fingers!!

This is interesting because I interviewed at the beginning of January and they told me that we would have an answer sometime between feb.1 - feb. 14???

Weird....

I have applied exclusively to UAB, my in state school the last 2 years, but this year I expanded my possibilities because I want to be a dentist and can't be so picky. I was called this morning and accepted to UF! I guess I'm moving down to Florida. Hope you get good news too!

Congrats on your acceptance to UF, you obviously are doing something right because they pick only a very select few out of state candidates, you should be proud!! 👍
