Anyone heard from dental schools yet?

invited today via email, my new DAT scores (oct.2) were not released until oct. 16 (they are not reflected in my predents prof but i scored the same overall as i did previously (19/19 and pat went down 1 pt)

I do not know of the availability of remaining slots, sorry.

Sorry zsmilez14, no joke. I'm as surprised as you are. It was one of my sciences, and not my PAT. I'm sure they'll reconsider you since you have amazing scores! Just a matter of time before they realize that. If not, there will be tons of schools that would love to have you.

I heard back from Minnesota today (I had sent in my secondaries really late =\ )
Interview is on 11/11

Carolyn Feller called me today around 12 out of nowhere. They offered me Nov 24th or Dec 1st, that's all.
 
for ucsf, my aadsas supplemental page was update 10/29, but it still says 'no action/response required'. anyone have this happen?

Yeah they have done this to me on 3 separate occasions since the end of September. I have the update for that same date currently. They might be teasing me. :xf:

I got an application complete email 9/15 and my AADSAS status was changed to in review on 9/24 and has not been updated since

ugh literally the same dates for me...o well, i'm really good at waiting to hear from schools so i'll just continue getting better

got a rejection email from ucsf...im heartbroken, even though i didnt really think i would get in. The email looked very much like an invitation email so i jumped up in dwn in joy, just to find out it was a rejection. California is breaking my heart
 
I got a rejection from UMDNJ today via AADSAS. They were the least responsive school this cycle so far for me. I am kinda dissapointed but not too upset about it. +pity+

Sorry to hear that!

But im trippn out, i dont even have UMDNJ in my AADSAS status...is that a problem?? Was it there before you got notified of your rejection?:scared:

Nope. Like I said they were the least responsive. But they do a good job contacting you if you are rejected.
 
UCSF rejection today. Thought I'd get an interview at least with a 23AA/23TS/23PAT 3.49cGPA/3.9sGPA. I'm also non-traditional in that I graduated 5 years ago. Some dental schools seem to like the additional life experience/dental experience (manager of a small company and then work as a dental assistant) some look at old grades as bad news. Oh well...

Congrats! When did you schedule it? Is there still any pre Dec. 1st dates left? My app was complete oct. 6th and I haven't heard anything from them..I'm starting to get really worried!

UoP will re-review my app in January. Oh well. At least I got UCSF, right?

Same here....🙁 i guess on the bright side..being a semi-back-up is better than being straight out rejected...

They said that they have dates from Nov 23 to Dec 4th, 4 days per week. I haven't scheduled yet. I am going to call tomorrow.
 
anyone know how louisville sends their invites? mail or email?
 
Louisville sends emails and you have to confirm on line, you can always call, they are very nice but Louisville is completely computerized when it comes to your files.

i didn't get the uop update about re-review. it stills cells its complete. anyone in the same boat?
 
Marquette is an early school, they like to be done by Dec 1 and they do not interview post Dec 1. So if one did not received interview invite earlier, this is it.

Hey,
When I interviewed at Marquette that was the idea that I got from them, too. They said that they send enough invites to fill their class on December 1st, and constantly go back to the waitlist from then on out when people decline offers. I also heard that most people that are offered on December 1st put their deposits down at Marquette. I know I will if offered!

I was invited for an interview at UCSF on Oct. 12. My AADSAS changed to "Invited for Interview" but just a few days ago on 10/29 it changed back to "Received/ Under Review". Did this happen to anyone else? Why would my status change?
