Anyone heard of someone getting accepted for the following year if a class fills up?

Just curious if this was something that has happened when classes start to get too large but the school would like to accept you. I couldn't find any info elsewhere.
For example, someone applies for Fall 2018 but instead gets accepted to start Fall 2019 instead of making you submit all your applications and new LORs again

Never hear of this happening before. I think once the class its full they stop accepting students. If they really want you they will make a spot for you otherwise you just have to apply next cycle and do the application process all over again.
Schools are very careful with their admissions and they only accept for the current cycle they won't start adding for next cycle because they don't know what the next batch of students stats looks like.
 
I’ve heard of this happening, a person was put on the waitlist and the class filled up. Then they accepted for the following year once the new cycle opened. I think they were reapplying or planning on it but I don’t know if they actually resubmitted.

Thanks this is all good info.
Hopefully I won't have to think about reapplying. Just slightly worried since I'm pulling at strings pretty late in the cycle due to taking the OAT late

Hey I just realized under your username it says you're at Midwestern AZCOPT. I heard you guys are doing really well and your board scores came out amazing this year. I was wondering if you've heard good things about the sister school Midwestern IL? Do you know if they're on a pretty similar page to you guys despite being far away from each other?
 
I don’t really know for sure but I would
Imagine they are on a very similar course. Our Dean has spent a lot of time with them getting the program set up and he did a great job with ours.

Already took and mentioned in the other thread we were in 🙂 Took my OAT a little over a week ago and received 2 interviews, NECO and MCPHS. Waiting to hear back from the other schools still

Yes definitely! Many schools run interviews until April. It might be a little bit more competitive as time runs out but I definitely think it's not too late

Great! That gives me hope! I just hope I get in this cycle because I would hate to waste a year.
