Anyone out there - pharm/docs/nurses, i know you all lurk here - ever give teaching a go in a university setting?


how'd you get the job - how'd you find it? what were the hours, the workload like?

Yep! Done that - but, I was adjunct, associate, assistant faculty (which means........no nothin' but paid for the hours I put in!).

But - loved it!!!

I taught first year pharmacy students about actual clinical skills in practice & also was a preceptor for a critical care rotation in a community hospital setting (altho the preceptor position was not paid...I was already being paid by the hospital I was working in.)

Nothing keeps you more up to date than someone with questions🙂.
