Can't seem to find any information on it! Has anyone here done an elective in an army medical center before? Thanks!

Generally, the easiest way is to actually be in the Army. That having been said, I have run into several civilian medical students rotating through Army hospitals. Are there any MEDCENS nearby, and does your school have any training agreements with them? What kind of experience are you hoping to gain from this? I did an ID rotation at Brooke AMC in San Antonio, and it was just like any other ID rotation at a civilian hospital, only no HIV patients, and more Acinetobacter. Ok, there were consults to the burn unit, but still nothing too awesome.

All you need to do is pick a location (e.g. Walter Reed) and call the appropriate department and ask to speak to the person who coordinates med student rotations. You may need to try IM or peds rather than the subspecialy itself.
