Anyone not taking biochemistry?

I have not taken biochemistry and will not be able to take it before I go to dental school. There are a couple schools to which this is a prereq. Anyone in the same boat??

Luckily not all schools require it!

If you have the time take biochemistry, since it makes you more competitive; and you will have an easier time in dental school.

I never took and it so far it hasn't seemed to be a problem. You're right though you will have to be a little more selective on the schools to which you apply. Good thing is a lot of schools don't have it as a prereq.

I didn't let the fact that I haven't taken biochem keep me from applying to schools that required it. I applied to UNLV, Dalhousie and Tufts which all require biochem. If I happen to get accepted I will be taking it via distance learning. Perhaps I was a little naive?
