So after filling out six secondaries this week I'm noticing that my essays are slowly starting to decline in quality lol. I'm actually a very good writer but as of late I just haven't been quite as poetic as I was in my PS or even my first or second secondary. I'm much to-the-point and direct in my last two secondaries I've done. Is anyone else that's been filling out secondaries noticing this?

Absolutely.

It's hard work trying to make myself sound interesting in 1208420 essays. 6 in a week, that's awesome though! 👍

Six in a week? I'm going to do like 30. :scared:

Not sure about the decline in quality as I don't think the initial ones were that good to begin with. But I definitely notice a decline in my motivation to get them done well ASAP and submitted. I think I recall a thread where a guy said on a redo, he would have got them in as fast as he could instead of trying to perfect everything on secondary applications. I don't know if there's any truth to that?

copy and paste (i don't mean plagiarize, i mean copy and paste answers from one secondary to the next). they all ask similar questions and at least this way your work is consistent!

Yea my UMich and UIC secondaries basically asked the same question, so a little quick editing and boom! got a new essay 🙂

To the point can be better than "poetic." You want to do quality work, but you can put a reader off by being over wordy

To the OP, consider this strongly. May be why you're having a difficult time.

I pre-wrote all 33 secondaries (well, more like 20-ish since a lot don't require essays). So to answer your question, No.

i remember doing one secondary and being able to make minor edits and it was perfect for like 6 others hahahahahahahaha. some needed a bit more work and were like a blend of 2 or even 3 other secondaries. and some were completely original.

Same for me!

This is technically plagiarism because you are copying yourself without citing the earlier work 🙂
