I think it is a combination of both

. This probably just me but back at cc, I was a straight A student. I studied a ton and I would always do my homework the day it was assigned. After transferring to university, I just lost lots of that motivation lol and I am NOT exactly sure what it is. I think that in terms of difficulty, university is harder NOT in a sense of materials being presented or tested, but rather the atmosphere, and things that easily can distract you (girls for example hahaha). I have been lucky to still get straight A's my first semester at the university but this semester I lost so much of that motivation and ended up dropping a class to protect my GPA.
I am actually renting a room about 5 minutes from the university and socially, my life has been boring as well. I guess this also plays a role on why I feel so lazy and NOT want to do anything. It is really tough because if you live in a dorm, chances are you will easily be distracted by your surroundings. And if you live off-campus, socially you just feel left out.
just my 2 cents lol.
