When do you plan to make the transition to daytime functioning? You will be taking the exam in the day time.
one week before the test. plus the good thing my exam starts at 1.30 pm so it'll be good coz these days i am waking up around 12-1 pm.. but obviously the day of the exam i'll wake up earlier..around 10 am or so.
Nice. I'm a night owl too maybe I'll try to look for a testing center with more merciful hours.
yea that will be good! i am not a morning person at all it would've been lousy for me to take it at 8 am!
Good luck! when is ur test?
This is a terrible idea. Force yourself to start waking up earlier. You want to be the most awake and tuned in for exam time, why risk changing your sleep schedule the week of the exam?
I don't agree. I spend my whole varsity career sleeping in the day and studying at night, increased productivity by about 5x (if you can stay away from the internet 😀). So do what works for you, no point in doing what other people suggest just because they are not comfortable with your methods.
And I don't think it will affect your test, considering you only starting at 01:30. Just make sure you get enough sleep the 12hours prior to your test.
Good luck!
I don't see a problem with your strategy. Pholston had a similar sleep schedule (if I remember correctly), and he did okay on his exam. 😉
If you're having success with what you're doing, then I don't see any reason to change now. Stick to your guns, and be sure to let us know how you do.
Good luck!
Better learn to wake up early once your clinical rotations start

I thought Phloston did that to get used to the time difference between the US & Australia?
I am a night owl as well, but I started forcing myself to wake up early every morning. It sucks and I have yet to get used to it. I am also timing my defecations to last 4.5 minutes max, leaving 30 seconds for wiping and hand washing, in that order. Do not eat what you will not have access to during exams. This trains your body for maximum compatibility with the sustenance you consume during the exam.
Try to mirror testing conditions in all aspects of life. This is how you conquer on the boards.
once in highschool i went to camp for a whole week where the bathrooms were less than hygienic and for a whole week i didn't get the need to defecate at all! it wasn't even forced 😛
I don't believe this story. You are full of s**t.
hahah u don't have to but i swear it's true 😀 Hey some of us can keep our bowels under control 🙂
