Have to agree with that. Think I flipped through it once. The clinically-relevant portions are reproduced in the other books.

Brings up good point...what books did you find totally useless for OKAPS or boards?

From BSCS: Medicine update, Optics, Fundementals, first 100 pages of Uveitis
Review books: Kanski picture atlas question book, mass eye and ear question book (not totally useless, just liked chern a lot more).

Don't mean to hijack thread, but if you're trying to buy portions of the basic science series instead of the whole thing this may be useful to the OP.

The whole BCSC series is a little annoying to read. I only liked path and plastics and parts of cornea. The rest were too boring and just dragged on and on.
