Still here, too, tac. Still only one interview invite. Still no word from VCU. Still no love from my own state school that is supported by my tax dollars.

What do you think would happen if we just showed up at the school of our choice on a known interview day and said that we were scheduled for that day? Let's think about this for a second:

1. It is clear that these school's are swamped with applications and sent out mass invites willy nilly.
2. They also give you multiple dates to interview, further messing up the process.
3. At this point people are calling and cancelling interviews, sometimes last minute, so there are bound to be spots open.
4. How could they not think that your unscheduled appearance (if they figure it out, which I don't think they would) is a testament to your love of their school? They can't.

I am going to choose Pritzker as my "drop-in" school. I would say Loyola, but I think they have their act together--too much room for it all to go down the crapper.

Hey, it's early. Still haven't had my tea (but it's steeping). Still haven't had breakfast. Fire is still warming up (what with the horrendous increase in gas prices, we're trying to heat the house by the wood-burning stove this year. Have yet to turn on the furnace). It's early.
