I am thinking about moonlighting at Tractor Supply for the Pet Vet clinic. Does anyone work for them? Is the money worth a Saturday? I'm looking for something that covers my motorcycle habit, which has become kind of costly this past year.

There's tons of discussion about this in some of the vet fb groups (vet-to-vet, for vets by vets) if you're in those. No personal experience.

No personal experience, I've heard bad and good. You bid on shifts so you pick how much you want to get paid, but you may not get selected depending on how the bids fall.... I've heard of some people getting up to $800 or more depending on the clinic and area.

You work as an independent contractor, so have to figure in the extra taxes as well.

Why not just relief? In my area, in a GP you can easily earn $75-85 per hour. I personally haven't taken ER shifts, but have been offered $100-$150 per hour for desperate ERs. Saturdays are so hard to fill, that it should be super easy to find a position.
