Anything you did late in the cycle (March) that helped to get an interview?

Hi all,

Hope you're well in this crazy time! Is there anything you did that you think helped to get you an interview? Thank god I have some acceptances, but I haven't heard back from my dream school. Getting a little desperate and wondering if writing all of these update letters actually helps. In addition, did anything beyond update letters help, like calling the office?

All I did was send a update/letter of interest letter to the school. After that I had to jump through some hoops but ultimately got an Interview invite.
