Hey guys! how do we put in AP grades and our courses that we are currently taking or taking in the fall? I dont know exactly what it will look like on my transcript. Does that matter?

for the AP classes, you should just put the class info, like the name and stuff along with the units. I don't think you enter in the letter grades. for your upcoming fall classes, just put what you are going to take. it doesn't really matter how it looks on your transcript since it won't even be on there yet.

the classes that I was exempted from due to ap credit were listed on my transcript. i entered in their names and Credit as a grade. i made a summer semester for right before my first year and put my ap classes there.

list them as they appear on your transcript. It might be a little late now but it is a good idea to order an official transcript so you can see exactly what they will be sending to AADSAS then put in everything exactly like the official transcript because that is what they will be comparing it to.

what would you put for grade or credits? How much you earned? say AP Spanish. My transcript says:

EXTENSION/INDEPENDENT STDY/ADVANCE PLACEMENT CREDIT:

ADVANCE PLACEMENT:
STAT 311 BY CEEB 5.0
(05/17/05)
MATH 124 BY CEEB 5.0
(05/22/06)
for grade, what would I put? And for Course name??? And term, what term? I may be complicating this..

i put the grades from my hs transcript in for AP classes! It says:

"All courses that appear on your transcripts and for which a grade and/or credit were ever assigned will be included in the AADSAS GPA calculations, even if they are not included in the GPA calculations of the transcript-issuing school."

i hope i didn't misread this, i already submitted

For grade, I would just select "CR-Credit", since they don't care what your high school grade in the class actually was...and for term, it seems like some people are doing it differently. Mine is listed on my actual transcript as "Fall A 2006" (I entered college Fall 2006), but since there is no "Fall A" option on AADSAS, I just included it in Fall 2006...but you could probably also create a separate session for the AP classes and call it the summer before you entered college.

I don't know...they might be kind of confused why you have letter grades on your college transcript for AP classes you took in high school. I would call and see what they have to say. Good luck!

ok they said they will switch it when they go to verify the grades...whew! i can't believe i screwed that up i totally thought i was doing it right

I posted this same question on a similar thread but on my college transcript, the grade listed for any AP credits I received says "S" for Satisfactory. On the AADSAS should I put "S" as the grade so that it has EXACTLY what my transcript says or should I put "CR" indicating that my university gave me college credit for passing those AP exams?
