The AMCAS Instruction Manual has the answer to almost any question you have about the application.
It states "Do not send middle or high school transcripts, or AP test scores to AMCAS."
"Unless credit has been granted by a U.S. or Canadian post-secondary institution for an AP course or an AP exam, such information should not be listed on the application. If credit has been granted, courses/exams should be listed according to the instructions regarding AP credit."
Tell your advisor that they should read the AMCAS Instruction Manual before telling more people the wrong information.
