It is not a bad idea to take physics 1 again. A second pass at it will only help you and give you more exposure to the material. Here are two pieces of advice I give to my students: a.) It takes a few passes at a course for a person to truly master the material. Simply taking one semester of organic chemistry, for example, does not allow you to truly master the material. b.) "Do not let school interfere with your education."--Mark Twain (school administrators sometimes cringe when I give this advice). Be an active learner and try to learn as much as you can on your own. Take advantage and be responsible with every opportunity you have. For you, I would recommend taking medical physics as you will discover how things such as simultaneous equations and Beer's Law are really applicable to CAT scans. It is a shame that we instructors don't have enough class time to cover all the applications of things that you learn in school...
