I bought it. I think the free APMLE practice exams posted on the APMLE website are better. But the app is cheap so its not a huge loss to buy. I used it on the bus every now and then. I don't know how much it helped me. But there were some mistakes I caught.

I personally really have been helped by the app (seems to be the only big question bank we have access to?). There are a few bugs in it (occasional typo) but they are very bearable especially for the cheap price. I personally have not found any incorrect answers in it tho? A few things I thought were mistakes I ended up looking up and the answer ended up being right.

I found a few typos and mis-keyed answers. That being said, I also found it a great tool to check my knowledge/understanding at the category level.
It is great as a tool for identifying weaknesses and studying on the go but I would not use it as my sole source.

I posted something similar today in another thread but boards are harder than the app. But use the app/free exams online to study. They are hot topics. Understand the answer choices. Don't know a lot about one of the answer choices (even a wrong answer choice)? Read up on it. Because obviously they are hot topics..

Passed boards and think that the app did help. It definitely covered/emphasized key topics. I think the category coverage/question distribution in the simulated app exam could have been a bit closer to the bulletin but then again the APMLE was kind of all over the place.
tl;dr First time pass on boards. Would recommend the app as a study aid.

I second what 'Thou' said. I passed boards and I bought it and found it helpful. The questions, I thought, were definitely harder than the actually exam which is good in some aspects bc it might prepare you better?? Overall though, good content and I would recommend buying it but only use it as a review...when you've been through everything at least once. That's my advice.
