appealing a rejection

Has anyone appealed a rejection before? I would appreciate any advice on what to focus on, how to format my letter etc. I recieved a secondary application from the school (UCLA) and was rejected for an interview. Thanks!

I did, it didn't work for me, here's the thread about it. I do know one guy that did, he's a surgery resident at the hospital, it worked for him. I at least got a personal letter from the Dean about it, at least i felt like they had at least looked at me app.

If you're not a CA resident, don't waste your time.

I think your time would be better spent working on your other applications... the whole process is very random and crazy sometimes, it's pretty hard to predict sometimes...
