Anyone interviewing at University of Louisville received day-of and travel info yet? I haven't heard anything since my phone call and am trying to figure out the timing for an overnight flight to Miami. Thanks!

I feel so sick right now.
Does anyone know where there might be info about sites that send waves of invites versus one-time batches? I don't know why/how this would help me but I am truly freaking out. My cover letters just aren't as strong as they should be, and it may be backfiring.
The site I have an invite to now is a good fit, but they interview a TON of people so it feels silly to think I could be one of those who matches with one interview.

I’ve known people who have matched with only 1 invitation. You’re going to go in there and show them how awesome and competent you are, and how lucky they’d be to have you on their team! That’s how. 🙂

Congrats! What time did you hear today? I'm wondering if they are still sending any more out.

I would be comforted by this except for the number of people they interview - what if I don't get ranked?? (Oh and I only have 1 as well so far)
But you're right, I can/will focus on prepping for that interview and being the best I can be.
 
How are y’all handling got conflicts? Got invited to a site that has a conflict on another date that I committed to Yale (but still waiting to hear from Yale..). Should I ask for another date? Or wait to hopefully hear from Yale first? Or take it and then ask to change if I get Yale? My track at Yale hasn’t sent out invites yet...

Relatedly, this site has an alternate date, but I have a conflict with my first choice site on this alternate date. My first choice site has another choice of date where I have no conflicts, but I picked the one that I have a conflict on. Would it look bad if I ask my first choice site if they would give me the other date (which is a less popular date / they are likely full on)

Congrats! At this point, I don't have another interview near that date, so I am planning to drive down the night before and get a hotel, then drive over in the AM.

Tough situation. If you are feeling competitive based on prior interview invites, you should do what you can to save a spot for Yale.

Did the site you haven't confirmed with yet state a specific date they need confirmation on? It feels like Yale acceptances may be finalizing and rejections incoming - they do seem to operate relatively independently based on track.

They said they wanted to know as soon as possible but didn’t say anything. Would replying by tomorrow night be aggressive?

I did not apply to this site but in the spirit of clarification for others - which Stony Brook is this? The Consortium or University of NY/counseling and psychology services?

Stony brook what? The university counseling center? Or another site/track?

I have received 5 rejections and only 1 interview so far. I’m waiting on decisions is one from 11 additional sites. I hear you only need 1 interview! I’m sure we’ll both be fine. [emoji6]
