I feel like I’m being held hostage while waiting to hear from sites! It’s SO annoying!

The best advice I’d give to next years applicants is to not apply to sites that have super late deadlines unless it’s there TOP choice.

haha i applied to sites that had Nov 1 and 2 deadlines and still havent heard. Two of my sites had Nov 15-18 deadlines and I have heard from them. :/

Yea I really hadn't considered how painful the waiting would be when a bunch of my sites had late application deadlines.

Anyone received rejections yet from VA San Diego or Charles George -Asheville VA? Also waiting to hear on Portland VA as well. It sucks because I already agreed to other interviews so now even if I get an invite, I feel like it isn't worth changing all of my travel arrangements and likely losing a bunch of money to go to one in-person interview. Anyone else struggling with almost all of their sites interviews being the first two weeks of Jan and offering nothing towards the end of the month?!
