I heard someone got an invite at TWU via phone, but I haven’t heard from them either way.

Really? Figured since their deadline is today there is still hope. Have anyone you know heard from them? And I don’t believe I have see anyone post on here about Menningers. but ya know anxiety and stress can do interesting things to our brains 😛🙂

Well...that's pretty much true for any site, however, thus far my experience is, if you are hearing back on the date of the deadline, 99.99% of the time its a rejection. There's been only once site out of my 33 I applied to where I received an invitation on their deadline. Also, there was another poster here who posted an invitation to Baylor about a couple of weeks back. At first I had thought they may send those out in waves, but then I lost hope. Once I spoke to my friend (who works there in an important capacity), they confirmed that if I hadn't heard back by now from them, it was most likely a rejection.

Baylor has two programs. One combined with Texas Children’s and another with their Menningers program. I thought the post on here was for the TCH/Baylor but I could have easily misread it. Yea it’s been a hit or miss for me so far with deadlines. Well I wasn’t expecting a yes anyways just like the confirmation lol

I'm very well aware of their sites 🙂 And there have been postings for both in the past couple of weeks. To date, only one person posted for the Baylor TIRR site in neuro rehab.

About a week ago I wrote off Baylor. I thought maybe give it a couple of more days once I saw the Baylor/TIRR posting, but then nothing came. So...reality set in. Sure, anything is POSSIBLE....but is it probable? Probably not. I was able to have some closure, then other sites came through. Baylor was 1 of my top 4, thus far, I have my top 3, it would have been great to have Baylor too, but I am happy with my sites.

That’s awesome! I also had Baylor rated high up on my list and I’m grateful and excited for the ones That I have as well. Good luck with your interviews and if you have any you are still waiting on!

I received an invite from Baylor a few weeks ago unfortunately (OCD and related-disorders track). I feel your pain though--waiting on two today that I really wanted that are almost certainly going to be rejections.

Rejection from Mt. Sinai Elmhurst! The rejection was short, sweet, and to the point. Like ripping off a bandaid. On to the next!
 
For me...I've already concluded that at least 5-6 of my 7 sites I am waiting on are rejections. So...to help visualize this, see below:

Some of us heard from them on Monday. Doesn't mean there isn't still a chance though, I've learned not to write a site off until I receive that rejection email.
 
Has anyone heard from Advocate Family Care Network? Their notification date says 12/31 but I feel like that has to be a typo?
