I was contemplating doing this today and I looked at their APPIC directory page again and realized there's a notice that they didn't update a lot of it from last year (in red text)... maybe they forgot to update the notification date for this year and assume that we all know it's (whatever date it is)? But yeah, I definitely think it's worth reaching out; I'm just a little nervous to do so myself... : )
Someone in my cohort received a phone call from them last Thursday inviting her to interview. The woman told her she had 20 or so more people to call. I have not heard any word either way.

I have heard from both of my BOP sites (still waiting on an OF-5 form from one though) and have not been contacted to get my CVA scheduled. I've been contacted by a psychologist from central office to "help with the process" but no CVA scheduling besides just asking what the nearest site is... Frustrating since my first BOP interview is early January so I feel like I'm running out of time.
I reached out yesterday but haven't gotten a response yet. :/

Hahahahaaha oh man, I suspect there will be a few of those going around. In fact, my dog made a sudden appearance during my first interview yesterday, looking very hopeful that I was available to rub her belly. Luckily my interviewer was very good natured about it.
Also, do we know timeframe for their accreditation? Have they been accredited on contingency for 2 years and are waiting to find out about full accreditation status? My program requires an accredited internship, and I’m a little worried sites’ abilities to report stats to meet accreditation in context of COVID
This is what I worry about lol. If I put mine in his crate, he’s usually quiet in there unless he hears a “threat” lol. Hopefully sites can give some grace about things like this given the nature of virtual interviews from home.

Haha, mine too—hence the need for the crate when he gets too rowdy lol. Have thought about making arrangements for him, but at the end of the day if someone gets upset cause he barked at something he heard outside, that’s prob not a site I’d want to be at anyway. 🤷🏻♀️

I ended up getting lucky as well, after leaving a second message, though it is certainly a suboptimal approach to scheduling.Just got a call from Carla at Henry Ford abut scheduling my interview. Thankfully I was available when she called..... but it could easily turn into cat-and-mouse game!
I received a rejection from them on the 11th. Went to my spam.
I received my invite from them this morning, not yesterday, so who knows how they are rolling them out. fingers crossed for you.
I am in the same boat for one of my sites. Their notification date was 12/1 and I know ppl received rejections & invites last month but nada for me lol. I just need closure lol. 😂
That's helpful to know! Someone got an invite yesterday and someone got a rejection today. Maybe they are doing batches as they review?
