My friend just heard back from Mount Washington Pediatric for the Neuropsych track. Hope to hear something good from them but who knows :-/

Congrats! This gives me hope that I might have a chance of hearing from them.

I am getting more rejections than I thought I would. Is it possible that my DCT wrote some negative information either by error or intent. Is there a way to find out as all my other docs including reference letters are top notch.
Are you an international student by any chance? I know that certain sites had funding changes and can now only rank US applicants, even though their APPIC profile indicates that they do not require US citizenship.

Congrats! I hear their forensic training is excellent

Oh shoot, I’m international. I didn’t realize that.
I am in the same boat and so are some of my friends who are applying this cycle. For the sites that can no longer rank non-US applicants because of funding changes, I would imagine they are not going to interview non-US applicants as well, even if they initially indicated on their website/APPIC that they do not need US citizenship. I am unsure how to approach this situation. I welcome any feedback/comments anyone might have about this.

Omg I’m international too and holly Molly I’ve been struggling. I got email saying they would’ve invited me to interview but because of their HR they can’t. A lot of training site directors want to but it often appears that it is the issue of HR and staff... so frustrating.....

I'm an international student too, and this is an unfortunate systemic barrier to training opportunities for non-citizen students. This is something that needs to be highlighted to international students as they are interviewed for doctoral programs, to set them up better to navigate this system in their later training years. I wouldn't lose heart; the postdoc years are great for research positions in these settings that otherwise wouldn't be available at the internship stage. Hang in there, we come from strong people.

Where did you read about this change?
