is anyone else waiting to hear from The Village for Families & Children? Their notification date was 12/4 and I don't recall them extending their deadline. Also any feedback on what to even say in an email to their DCT would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks 🙂

I received an offer on 12/7.
I didn’t apply to neuro at Canandaigua but I haven’t heard back from them. I think their date is still friday? Or does anyone know if they changed it because of the extended deadline?

I heard back from the Village via email offering me an interview on 12/7. Interview dates offered 1/6. 1/13, and 1/14. Good luck!

I'm still waiting on Tampa & Icahn as well! Crossing my fingers, but both of their notification dates on APPIC are next week, so I'm thinking we are going to continue on in suspense for awhile 🙁

I actually just got an offer from Edith Nourse Rogers VA this morning. It was a personalized email that I got at 9:40 am EST. It looked like someone else got one yesterday so they might be doing it in a rolling manner! Best of luck!

I heard from Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial VAMC yesterday. The email did not specify track but I only applied to the Neuro track. We were expected to respond with date preferences by 12PM EST today. They could very well be doing waves; it is difficult to tell.

My friend is interviewing at West Haven on Thursday and hasn't received anything yet either!
That's reassuring that I'm not the only one! I was hoping that since it's the first interview date they may just be taking time to get everything finalized but also seeing folks on here who have had their emails sent to VA spam boxes had me nervous they didn't get my confirmation for the date 😳

It’s mentioned on the OF-5 form. But I think it’s just the drug test for the same reason you’re mentioning and from a prac experience I had at a BOP site.

Someone asked about physicals for internship, separate from drug testing.
I had to get a physical for my VA internship. They basically want to make sure you have your vaccinations/are immune to certain things. Also, that you are “physically-able” for the job position. Which does not mean much at all for psychology.
Think of these things as a bureaucratic check box rather than something to be worried about. Barring military internships i imagine, I doubt anything physical is necessary for a psychology intern job description.

I recall in the USAJobs description or the brochures that a physical is required. And the urine test.
