I second all of this. Even though I had a week full of interviews this past week and did...none of these things 😉 I actually prepared quite a bit for my very first interview and none for the rest, even though my top choices came later in the week. Overall interviews have felt more conversational and to a large extent repetitive. My candid answers have been much better than rehearsed, scripted answers.Me too. Very grateful to have the interviews and not have to travel, but this seems exhausting! My current plans for managing are: cancel everything I need to cancel in advance of that week, have meals prepped/assigned to partner, make no plans for the weekends on both ends, plan outfits in advance as if I am traveling and would be forced to, and plan to prep for each specific interview (e.g. re-read cover letters and brochure) the morning of so I don't get them too scrambled. It would be great to hear others' tips for making back-to-back interviews as successful as possible!

Way to go mama! From another mama who had kids in grad school, I know how much of an adjustment those first few weeks are. Praying that you get good news soon! I also had a bunch of rejections before my first interview offer. It's not too late by any means.thank you <3 I completed these applications only a few weeks after giving birth to my first child because i was so determined to continue moving forward with my career, and I know I did a good job despite the lack of sleep! praying for the same sort of response you got...
Keep in mind it only takes ONE!!!! And then Phase II where in recent here’s there have been plenty of great sites across specialities.7 rejections no interviews still waiting to hear from 14 sites is this normal

I didn’t hear from them either. I applied to child track. Not expecting a good response though. Instead of putting “i would like to be considered for the Child Track”, I wrote “I would like to be considered for the Behavioral Health Rotation”. 😖Happy interview season fam! Sending everyone positive energy.
Anyone hear from Friends Hospital in Philly? They have yesterday listed as their notification date but since they extended their deadline I assume they’ll take a bit longer. Wanted to see if anyone has info. Thanks in advance!

I’m waiting on Woodhull too. Not a word from them. I heard that they are typically a little disorganized but I think at this point I’m waiting for a rejection.I’m waiting on Lenox Hill and Brooklyn VA!
Wow, being a parent of a newborn and still pushing through with applications is no joke! I admire your perseverance and I hope you get lots of invitations coming your way!thank you <3 I completed these applications only a few weeks after giving birth to my first child because i was so determined to continue moving forward with my career, and I know I did a good job despite the lack of sleep! praying for the same sort of response you got...

Yes Montefiore had an open day before the interview invitations. I dressed a little more colorfully than I would have for interview but, I was dressed. Everyone else was in suit jackets too.For those that have attended an optional virtual open house that doesn’t take place same day as interview, did you “go” in full interview attire?
I wouldn't lose hope! I didn't apply there but I just know that in general the NYC sites tend to notify later so maybe they haven't told anyone anything yet!I’m waiting on Woodhull too. I bow down. I could not have done that. And sites should bow down too. I wish there was a way to communicate stuff like this to sites. Rejection 9:58 CST - UNC-SOM. Mass email, not track-specific. Knew this one was coming, just wasn't sure when! Not sweating it 🙂
Just got this too. This was one of my favorite sites but I have to say this may have been the least thoughtful rejection email I have received. (And I received plenty...😉) Ah well - takes the edge off a bit I guess.Rejection 9:58 CST - UNC-SOM. Mass email, not track-specific. Knew this one was coming, just wasn't sure when! Not sweating it 🙂

So impersonal! And seems hastily written. I've been (SO) lucky that this is my only one up to this point (still waiting to hear from more sites)!Just got this too. In the same position as well. did you apply for mostly neuropsych tracks?Literally in the same position! Not sure if it's normal though!
I was in the same situation last year and decided to hold off applying for a year. But honestly traveling right after birth for interviews was one of my main reasons for waiting. From a mama of 3 (1 of which arrived 3 months before starting grad school and 2 of which happened during grad school), great job! You have a lot to be proud of.thank you <3 I completed these applications only a few weeks after giving birth to my first child because i was so determined to continue moving forward with my career, and I know I did a good job despite the lack of sleep! praying for the same sort of response you got...
As to the quality, I appreciate the volume of work and integrity put forth by TDs and training committees during internship season and as long as it’s not actively mean, I am personally just happy for the closure of an official rejection at all.

Has anyone received a rejection from the New Jersey VA or Sacramento VA?

The most generic rejection from Kennedy Krieger Institute/Johns Hopkins Center for Child and Family Traumatic Stress/Psychiatric Mental Health. Addresses "dear applicant." Yikes. Best of luck to those still waiting.
Happy new week everyone! Hoping for the last invites to roll out this week (or some closure).
Has anyone gotten a rejection from Youth Opportunity Center? I saw someone post an interview invite via mass email, but haven't seen any rejections. I haven't heard from them despite the notification date being Friday, but it seems like last year they sent rejections days after the deadline.

When I spoke to the program coordinator, she said anything between 0-100 is fine, but that it doesn’t actually matter!
I was told the same!
Thank you for asking about Charleston! I was just about to ask if anyone else was still waiting. I'm expecting the rejection but still waiting (SO impatiently).Anyone heard from Bay Pines VA? Their date is 12/16 but in previous years they’ve notified earlier.
Also, any Charleston Consortium rejections?
I edited my post to add in their notification date, which I just checked and it’s today! Hopefully we’ll hear something today. I wonder with their rolling notification if they decide to extend more interviews based on how the earlier interviews go. They’ve had 4 interview days including today.Thank you for asking about Charleston! I was just about to ask if anyone else was still waiting. Not yet, still hoping they have a change of heart.... 😉Also, any Charleston Consortium rejections?
