The TD indicated that multiple people may have not received the first invite email because their computer glitched. The TD sent the email again and I finally received it.

I did this morning (12/16). It was sent as an email attachment dated 12/15 lol. The was the last site I was waiting on! Now I can finally move on to 100% focusing on upcoming interviews. Hope you hear back soon!

Has anyone gotten a rejection from Adler Juvenile Justice? I know 1 person posted about getting an interview the other day (congrats!), and their notification deadline was yesterday. It's my last site, I just want to be done...
It wasn't a super top site for me but I definitely would've wanted to interview with them, but I'm glad I can move on from it! I hope it wasn't one of yours either
Rejection from Colorado Mental Health Institute in Pueblo at 11:47 am - found in my junk. This one stung as I really liked this site 🙁 For those that got interviews, good luck! 🙂 I heard so many amazing things about this site and wish you all the best!

Happy Hump Day from Old AuntieSue! We all survived December 15th! Whether you're moving on or still waiting for notifications (ahem, Denver Health), I hope you have some measure of peace and can start to move forward with preparations for your next hurdles and some restoration over the holidays.

Did anyone get a rejection from University of Tennessee - Knoxville? I know people had interviews offered in early December, but they ghosted me and it's the last site I have to hear from out of 21. I'm just a little peeved at the radio silence.
I'm in your same boat. I've heard of people getting invitations and rejections but I received neither. I emailed the TD today asking about my status. Have yet to hear back yet. Haven't heard from four🤪 I think they forgot to reject me but will still be sticking around and refreshing anyway!

It wasn't for me either, and I feel the same. Wish I could have interviewed anyway, but that's OK! I got an interview with my #1 site so I'm happy 😊 All the best to you throughout this process!

I got a rejection yesterday 🙁
I finally heard back from all 12 of my sites yesterday (for better or worse) and it's been a HUGE relief. I finally actually slept a full 8 hours last night for the first time since October. Didn't realize how stressful this waiting process could be. Hang in there, everyone! The closure is a huge relief. Soon you'll be sleeping soundly again 🙂

Followed up today and I'm so glad I did. The DCT responded that I was sent an interview offer yesterday but it wasn't received on my end (not even in Spam folder). Hope this encourages everyone to follow up and get answers for those sites who haven't reached out and their notification dates have passed!!is anyone still waiting to hear from Manhattan Psychiatric? I've seen/heard that both invites and rejections went out today but I received neither
You’ll have to reach out to them. According to their website, even before COVID, they don’t extend offers to interview (this was to reduce the burden of traveling for applicants). You’ll have to contact them and they’ll let you know if you’re still being considered. I reached out last week and at the time they had a few spots available on the 8th and only one spot left on the 15th.

Sounds like this is against APPIC rules. They should be reaching out to applicants, not the other way around.

The rules/policy are squishy. For example, if they consider their interviews an open house, they don't have to, although they should have this listed in their brochure.
I heard from all mine but I am hoping we will all stick around so we can discuss our experiences! This forum has been so amazing and I love how supportive everyone is. It has definitely been helpful and even helped with managing stress!

Forgive me if this is a silly question, but how is everyone preparing for interviews??? My first is Friday and I'm just talking to myself pretending to answer questions (and internally cringing)

I did not pick up from a blocked number a while back and they didn't leave a message. Now, I am wondering if it was one of the sites calling 😥 but I will never know now!
The way I prepared was to just know what I would say but I did not necessarily practice my answers. I had one on December 7th, and what I noticed was knowing what I wanted to say but responding in that moment made it more real and made me feel more comfortable in my skin. I felt that when I was practicing consistently, I would miss something and would become frustrated with myself. So, I decided, know some points I want to hit and hit most of them.
I also just did a more research on the site and the team at the site to know who I would potentially meet. It is super anxiety-provoking but it helped me a lot!
Agree with all of this. Also, if you’ve made it to the interview, you already have the answers! Trust yourself 🙂 I second looking up the site ahead of time. I didn’t do intensive pre-interview prep, but I did make a point to look up everyone I would be interviewing with once I got my personalized schedule. That way, I knew what rotation they were on (this info should be in the brochure). Some were surprised I knew what they did, because I could then ask more pointed questions and we could have a more fruitful conversation.

I straight up practiced my answers. I googled common interview questions (and VA Performance-Based interview questions) and wrote out like bullet point responses to highlight. Although, I did this because I ramble and it helps me to have a pre-thought out answer. Good luck Friday!!
I believe Charlse George VA sent out interview invites via phone in late November.
