Application Deadline Extended

I looked on the website of one of the schools that I applied to, and I read that the deadline was extended another month. The site did not give a reason. Has anyone had any experience with this or ideas on why they did that? Or maybe I'm hoping it's because they didn't have enough applicants 🙂

This happened with one of my schools too, but it was because their application site was down and nobody could access for a week before the deadline I think...wish it WAS because of lack of applicants, that'd be nice! 🙂
