Hey!!! My name is ines and i am a medical doctor in portugal, completing now our equivalent to the foundation program, called "common years" in portugal. I would like to apply for a residency place in the UK and have been searching the web for quite a while... but cant find how it's done for someone who has achieved the foundation competences already! can someone help me here please? thx!

Application for the 2009 foundation programme is too late buut you can apply for next year's intake.

As long as your med school is listed in WHO directory, it's fine. As a EU citizen, you will not need to pass any tests in the UK, though you prob will have to do the foundation programme.

Thanks BabyPsychDoc, I do believe the PLAB is required for me to start the foundation program? Am I mistaking?
