Application Question

I took an EMT course through a local program: "institute for Emergency Medical Personel". It is not affiliated with any college and there were no credits granted. I did receive my certification. My question is, does anyone know how and where to put this in the application?

other people on this board in similar situations have been including it as an EC. do you currently work as an EMT?

I put it under an extra curricular activity as was mentioned above. It was noticed by medical schools.

The course or the actual "being an EMT"? If it's the course, i wouldn't even add it if it's no credit and unaffiliated. As the other posters said, if it's the experience- goes in the experiences. --Trek
