Hey everyone,
I am seeking for advice. I applied to dental schools and now I have a gap year ahead of me if I get in. I know that from September - December, I will be really busy interviewing at several schools. However, I would want a job to support myself. I am currently jobless, and was wondering would it be okay to just find a random job or should I find a job that is dental-related?
For the past two years, I worked as a front office assistant in a dental lab and as a package handler for another company. Unfortunately, the dental lab cannot offer me a position this summer when I took off for my DAT. I don't think that the lab will offer me a job in the fall as well since they hired a lot of people for that summer.
I currently live at home, but pay for all my meals and transportations.
Please let me know what are y'all thoughts.
