apply and take MCAT same time?

Did anyone apply in june and take the MCATs that august??

How did it go? Was it difficult sending secondaries and studying for the MCATs?

Does this decrease your chances of an acceptance?

I submitted my AMCAS application in late June while I was studying for the August MCAT. Most of my secondaries arrived after I wrote the MCAT so they didn't really interfere with studying. I received SUNY Upstate and Rochesters secondaries before the exam but they were both relatively short and straightforward.

I submitted my AMCAS in mid-July. My application is now complete for at least 8 schools I applied to.
