It will be a LOT easier for you to get a residency here if you start over, BUT, if you're at a world famous school like Cambridge, then probably be you'd be one of those FMGs who make it here.I'm a 3rd year medical student in my country and I just got a green card via Family based immigration, I'm confused on whether I should I finish up school in my country and apply as an US IMG for a residency or start over in the US by getting into UG and then applying for medical school. The latter way is an expensive one, but then applying as an IMG would mean limited choice of residencies that I can realistically land. Confused on what to do.
