Apply for a 2017 ACRO Resident Educational Grant

The American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO) Resident Committee is offering a funding opportunity for resident members of ACRO to improve the education process for residents and/or medical students. ACRO will provide two $1,000 grants for radiation oncology residents to carry out a project focused on education. For each recipient, $500 will be awarded immediately, and $500 will be awarded three months later, either for continued research or for travel to present at the ACRO 2017 Annual Meeting (strongly encouraged). Award recipients will be notified by December 17, 2016. Recipients must either present at the ACRO Annual Meeting March 9-11, 2017 in Orlando, FL, or submit an interim report to the Resident Committee by that date. The final report must be submitted by September 16, 2017.
Eligible applicants must be Resident Members of ACRO and in good standing in a US residency program. Applicants must list a primary mentor for their project. Submissions must be sent via email to James Leckie ([email protected]), no later than 11:59 PM December 7, 2016. Submissions will be assessed and scholarships will be awarded by members of the ACRO Resident Committee with input from the Scientific Program Committee as needed.
