Apply ortho after working a few year?

Hi Guys, I am very new at this and have a quick question, if anybody can help me it will be greatly appreciated

If I want to work for couple years to pay off some dental school loans before applying for Ortho program, would it reduce my chance of match somewhere because I am not longer senior in school?
