this question has probably already been asked before, but just wanted to ask anyway.
i'm submitting my application around june 15-20, depending on when recommenders get the letters ready. i am taking DAT on august 15. even though i've submitted my application early, will it even matter or be advantageous at all since schools have to wait for my DAT scores to review my application? Will I still be considered an early applicant or pushed to the back?

i'm expecting the app to take 4-6 weeks to reach schools so that by the time i take my DAT, both will arrive at the same time.

No matter what, its advantageous to submit your application early, for a whole number of reasons but in your case they cant review it without your DAT scores. August is kind of that month where you are considered early or not. Since you are taking your DAT August 15, you are kind of considered a "late early applicant" in my opinion. If your stats are good, you should be fine. It's just going to kill you when people are getting interview invites to your schools and you haven't even taken the DAT yet. That will be the hardest part!

Last cycle, I submitted my app first week of July. Took my DAT a few days later than you. I applied to 5 schools and got 2 pre-December interviews, along with one during the first week of December. You should be just fine, still early at most schools.
