Hey, is worchester a better area or Manchester???? why? and who is applying here
I just noticed on pharmcas website that you need physics, calculus based. I am in physics now but it is algebra based! 😱 I don't know what to do now, should I still apply? I can't take the calculus based physics next semester.
yesMCPHS has rolling admissions, right?
No they don't I just talked to them yesterday and they said no???

Oh ok your are probably right cause Boston is the office I contacted that told me that. Thanks!I think the accelerated program is on a rolling basis, Boston isn't.
so anyone get any interview requests yet???
😕
Most of the professors that teach are from the worcester campus, although a few of them are from Manchester. If you think you will be using office hours a lot and do not like calling or webcaming with your professor, then Worcester is a better place for you. if you do not mind either way, Manchester does have a smaller class size. Other than that, they are both the same, except that for Pharmacy Law class, the students in Worcester will learn Mass law, and the ones from Manchester will learn NH law, so I guess you kind of need to think which state you want to take the law exam. If you don't plan on taking it in either, then it doesn't really matter!
Would you recommend Worcester to others? and why or why not?
ThanksIt all depends what your preference is. Personally I can't compare Worcester to other programs because I haven't actually been there. I can tell you that the program here and the way the professors teach have been much different, and better, than how they used to teach last year, or even 2 years ago because of feedbacks they have gotten from others. Therefore, you can't judge this school solely on what you see in this forum, especially if it was based a year + back. I've only been here a month or so, I don't have any complaints except that we're always busy studying, which I'm sure is the same wherever you go, especially accelerated programs.
I applied to the accelerated program in Worcester and received a letter for an interview on October 4th. I am going for the interview this Thursday. Has anyone gone yet?
Hi dear, first let me know did you get accepted? and then, would you let me know what type of question did they asked you in the interview? what you mean about written test for interview? would you go over the deatails of your interview? i have my interview on Nov at worcester and very nervous. would you help me?thanksI sent my application in completed by September 10th I believe, maybe a little bit earlier. The interview is a written test and then one on one with a professor.

I am going this Thursday (10/25)...I'll let everyone know how it went afterwards. Wish me luck!
Hey guys,
I went for my interview today. You go 1/2 hour early, take a writing sample and then meet with a professor. He asks very standard questions about why you are here, etc, etc. Nothing out of the ordinary. Then he will take you on a tour of the building and that's it. Very easy!

I was officially accepted today!! Anyone else get in yet?!
About how long after sending in the application did you guys receive notice that your application was complete and ready for review? Also, I went over the word count on my essay (about 623) instead of 500. I hope that they won't hold that against me too much. It's hard to write a good essay in proper format in 500 words or less.
