Lets say I plan to apply next June, but I still have Ochem II left (which i will def. finish the following semester). Will this hurt me in anyway?

Won't hurt you at all. As long as your prerequisites are completed by the time you matriculate, you're just fine.

but wont the adcomm ppl question why? bcos ochem II is one of the hardest classes in the prereq, and dont schools value prereqs classes higher than other science classes? not to mention that I haven't taken the MCAT yet. I know some schools require students to finish prereqs before applying (im not applying for those).

No they won't question why, they'll just assume that your schedule didn't work out or something. Very few schools require all prereqs to be taken by time of application, and as long as you know which they are, you're not in danger of wasting any money.

I dealt with this problem last year when I hadn't yet taken a year of physics and lab. I know how frustrating it is to have to put off applying as that is exactly what I had to do. I met with the admissions director at my desired med school and was told I couldn't apply until I had completed all coursework. It felt like I was wasting another year of my life. It turned out to be great advice because the info really helped me do well on PS and I raged in the class which helped my GPA.

You will really need Orgo II for the MCAT so I would recommend that you consider put off applying for a year. You might want to speak with the admissions staff at the med school in which you are interested to get their take. Good luck!

which school is that?

if you dont mind telling me 🙂

I don't think this is normally the case. A lot of schools have posted on their websites that the four prereq's are required only prior to matriculation.

I've have heard a lot of people on here say that the MCAT can be taken without Orgo II if you learn a handful of topics on your own.
