is it okay to take in a bottle of water durning the interview. all that talking and my mouth gets dry!
The longest interview I had was 30 min. You can't survive that long without water? I don't think you should because it's distracting to the interviewer.
I fidgeted with my hand once during an interview once while I was taking and I definately noticed my interviewer looked down at my hands briefly.
Most schools will provide the interviewees with a beverage and lunch. But, by Gob, don't, don't, don't take a water bottle. That is incredibly tacky. You're not going to class or going for a jog. You're going to a very formal interview. An interview which will last maybe 30 minutes, max. Brave it out. Seek out a water fountain. Pop in a tic tac to induce saliva beforehand. But not a water bottle. And once again, they will provide you with a drink.
Or in the absence of tic tac a pacifier might be a good substitute.
Why don't you just bring in a bottle of your mother's breast milk?
b/c she quit pumping....anyway if it was just one 30 minute interview that is one thing, but it is three 45 minutes interviews. Its not that I cant handle a little dry mouth, but its ragweed season here. I cant breathe, my nose runs, and my throat dries out. I guess I wont bring a water, but i will definitely keep what they provide.
I got ya. Camo camelback with a lapel-clip.
Pocket Flask. And if they make a face, wink and chuckle.
How bout a 6-pack of bud light? and don't be selfish, offer one to the interviewer.🙂
