Approximately how long is the verification backup time for 7/1 submission?

About a month probably? A friend of mine submitted 6/10 and got verified 6/25...so there was already a significant backup, so from your guys' experiences, submitting on 7/1 would take approx how long?

As far as I know two weeks is not significant backup time. That's just about the minimum time it takes for AMCAS to verify any application (unless you're at the beginning of the app cycle, perhaps). Expect it to take anywhere from 2 weeks to a little over a month. Don't worry about it. That's just how long it takes and you're not being put at any increased disadvantage compared to everyone else. If it takes shorter time, great. No harm in expecting a longer wait.

1. Check out the current 2010-2011 AMCAS Verification thread. Currently we're at around 10-11 days elapsed from Submission (including all transcripts rec'd by AMCAS) until Verification.

From the 2009-2010 thread it appears to take about 1 month for verification at that point, but they might be faster this year

I submitted 8/15 last year and was verified around 9/15. So once you get past the first month or 2 it starts taking them about a month to get to your file.

I submitted on 7/2 last year and was verified in 3 weeks. You'll get some secondaries to do during then anyway..
