SAN DIEGO An e-mail sent out by UCSD this week mistakenly invited everyone who had applied to the La Jolla campus to an orientation even those whose applications had been rejected.
We're thrilled that you've been admitted to UC San Diego, and we're showcasing our beautiful campus on Admit Day, said the e-mail sent around 5 p.m. Monday.
well they can't help if it arrives on april 1st lol.you'd think schools would have learned to not send letters on april 1

I don't care what decade it is, that does not mean pharmacy schools aren't using usps to ship out letters. I haven't had a single acceptance via email from ANY schools. What decade are you in? It's pretty much all electronic now.

Actually, I was informed of my acceptance via email and a med school friend of mine got his official via email.I don't care what decade it is, that does not mean pharmacy schools aren't using usps to ship out letters. I haven't had a single acceptance via email from ANY schools.

UCSD and UCSF sent out their decisions by snail mail.
So.... none at all then?
That would suck so badly. I have the inkling that this was intended, you don't just email everyone and say that it was mistaken...
You'd be surprised how easy it is to screw up a mail merge on excel, especially if you put in the wrong cell #'s or sort incorrectly. I used to do them all the time and I had at least two mistakes back at UCLA regarding enrollment and wait lists.
I don't think admissions did this on purpose, do you know much extra work/incoming phone calls they brought on themselves? I wanted minimal work...haha.
wow confetti! How are you a 10+ year member?! I just saw that!!
