Are dental students more likely to be sued?

...and for more money? I'm referring not to malpractice, but the extracurricular variety of lawsuits. Dentists are certainly more likely than the average citizen to be sued in their personal lives (for example, after a car accident), so does that risk not also apply to dental students?

Do we need to take steps to protect our future income (say, by maxing out bodily injury liability on auto insurance, and maybe taking out an umbrella policy)? Or will minimum coverage suffice for those of us with few current assets?

You could always lobby president bush. You do have a physician/dentist friendly president at the white house.
