I got a B in Calculus II that brought my GPA down. My science GPA is a 4.0 not counting that B in calculus. 😕 I got that B because I was just bored with the material, not because I didn't understand it!

Do all schools count Math towards your science GPA? Which schools do and which schools don't?

As others have said, yes, they count. But a 3.9 is hardly something to be upset about! 🙂

AMCAS is the standardized application for nearly all medical schools. According to AMCAS, science is more specifically defined as BCPM for biology, chemistry, physics, and math.
