Are pharmd/phd full funded? Do you have to pay for both your pharmd and phd? Or they just pay phd + stipend and you pay pharmd? Or do the just cover the whole thing? Does anyone know?

I am considering it but I wouldn't want pay for both. If they pay for phd only that is fine too. And if it is just phd only, would you be able to defer your loans during the phd period (cause it is still considered school right? not residency) ?

Like most PhD programs it differs by school. I know that here at UT you are given a $4000 yearly stipend for your first 4 years and you pay no tuition. After you complete your PharmD you get around 19k a year until you finish your PhD and also pay no tuition. Since Pharmacy school tuition is around 16k here then I guess you can make the assumption that you get the same amount throughout your program.

I thought PhD programs are usually funded and PharmD/PhDs tend to require tuition for the PharmD part.

Dang. If I cared at all for doing research I'd be all into getting a Phu.D. degree.
