When we get into the test, while the tutorial is going, are we allowed to write down things that we easily forget? Say bacteria breakdown tables, drugs we easily forget? Or are we not allowed to write anything?

Not only CAN you do this I would SUGGEST making up a sheet of information that is either tricky/easy to forget. Practice writing it out and get it memorized using whatever mnemonic you have to. As soon as you sit down "brain dump" that information onto your paper. Then you will have essentially a "cheat" sheet for some of the most difficult topics for the rest of the test and there will be no second guessing yourself!

Survivor DO

I was told that I shouldn't write during the tutorial. Thankfully, skipping the tutorial takes 10 seconds so it's no big. Skipped tutorial time becomes extra break time.

Does the tutoring go over how to use the calculator?
I don't think there are calculators on the practice nbmes..

Also I heard that there was a way to take a practice exam at the testing center? Is that so, can you please let me know where i can get more information on it.

Thanks!

Can't help you with the practice exam thing, but the interface for Step is exactly like UWorld, along with where the calculator is. I think you can actually go to the NBME website and download the software to get a feel for it. Not sure.
