Are you hearing from VMCAS about transcript confirmation?

I haven't heard anything and am a bit nervous! I have an interview contingent on grades being downloaded feb 1.

Did you check your VMCAS portal? I didn't get any notification but I logged in and it showed that they had received the transcript. If not, I would call. Hope that helps!

Oh goodness, after calling the registrar at school to see if they had record of it going out (it's then 415pm) and being on hold for 10 minutes, they tell me, "sorry, we still have it here in the office." Talk about hitting the panic button! So, I take a sealed copy to fed ex at 530 and started to write the address (po box). Clearly, that is a no go! Then slightly defeated, start calling every post office in town trying to find one open. Amazingly, I made it within 3 minutes of the deadline for overnight mail! Hopefully, it getting there tomorrow is sufficient (and hopefully it arrives)!

They probably have a massive pile of them to deal with, and it's the first year they're doing this so they're bound to be a little inefficient. As long as you have delivery confirmation that it did in fact arrive on time I wouldn't stress too much!

I did that and they told me it was unacceptable because the official transcript had been issued to me, so I could overnight it. But, after learning that and spending $20 just to mail it, they did indeed receive the first one that was sent back on Jan 7th. Long story short, your first one is probably there, they just haven't gotten to it.

If you go to your VMCAS account and look under transcripts, it will show the updated date that they received the fall transcripts. Also, I just talked to the VMCAS guy and he said that they do not actually ship them out, they just post them online and all the schools you applied to will have access to them that way.
