I just calculated my science GPA and it comes out to a 2.995! Someone PLEASE tell me Aadsas rounds up! Yeah right! Crap, I guess I am forced to take a class in the fall!

o plz..dont worry about it. they do round up..so quite sure it will be 3.00. but even if it wasn't. your application wont get tossed in the garbage. they will still take a look at the overall picture. no..i dont know this for sure becuz im not an adcom but i wouldnt be worrying about 0.005%.

But should they worry about a 3.0 science GPA? Probably depends on the schools they've chosen to apply to, along with their DAT scores.

Not to be depressing but I had calculated my own science GPA and the one I got back from AADSAS was lower! I'm really not sure what goes on at AADSAS but they do seem a little screwy! I have never retaken a class and have no W or UW or audits, but somehow they calculated different than what I was expecting. Chin up though, your application includes much more than GPAs. You might have many more things going for you which none of us know about.

i think its because they count -'s at .667 instead of the usual X.7..and +'s as .333

That's the way I calculated it to the tee!
